Children & Family Services

Children & Family Services

We support children and young people in their homes, providing attentive day-to-day care, encouraging independence, and establishing daily routines. We become part of the family.

We provide children and family services for a wide range of needs, including autistic spectrum disorders, complex health issues, physical disabilities, profound multiple disabilities, severe learning disabilities and challenging behaviours.

We have experience supporting young people through their transition from childhood to adulthood and between children and adult services. Staff are trained in supporting children and young people in areas such as:

  • Building skills in social and home settings
  • Friendships and relationships
  • Maintaining and creating new networks of support

We aim to offer emotional support and promote a holistic service at the heart of which is open communication with everyone involved in the individual’s care, from specialists and case workers to members of the family.

We become an extension of the family. We’re often called upon to offer respite care to family members and guardians.

At the core of our organisational values is our emphasis on personalised support, nurturing and developing the interests of the people we support, working towards individual outcomes. We encourage everyone who uses our services to reach their potential.

Support plans and risk assessments are undertaken with the understanding they are open to regular review, as the persons choices and decisions change.

Our support can be short or long-term, 24-hour live-in, on a respite basis, or as regular visits throughout the day. We often provide a lot of personal, practical care, taking children to the school bus or people to day centres. We are as flexible as you and your situation requires us to be.
