Branch expansion for Nupath
Gillian Hill has been appointed as manager of our new Gateshead branch; and Tracey Bell has been recruited to spearhead our expansion in Middlesbrough and the wider Tees Valley area.
Sharon Skidmore, head of Nupath Care explained: “There is growing demand for specialist care and support across the North and we have years of expertise delivering services to users across Northumberland.
“We are committed to growing our reach across the North East and perhaps wider afield in the coming year. This is an exciting time of development for the organisation.”
Gillian, who has worked in the care sector for more than 37 years and been in managerial positions for the past 20 years, managing a variety of settings including residential, supported living and home care. She has been working with people with learning disabilities, mental health issues and physical disabilities. She will be developing specialist care services in and around the Gateshead area.
“This is an exciting time to be joining the organisation as it strengthens its services provision and expands beyond its traditional areas,” she said.
Tracey has worked across Teesside in the care sector for almost 40 years. She has expertise in providing care for the elderly, and those with learning disabilities and mental health issues. She began her career as a care assistant developing her skills in different jobs before finally becoming a registered manager in a care home.
Tracey joined Nupath Care in August 2021 to develop specialist domiciliary service in Middlesbrough – with a view to expand into surrounding areas.
